HUGE thing in Korea. Honestly, it can get over the top very quick. I really hope there are not guys out there who really really enjoy this kind of "adorableness." Actually, I've tried some of this, not to the extremes...I've gotten varied results. The best way to explain aegyo is to show you an example of it. There are a lot of female and male examples of aegyo, SNSD's Sunny is notorious for aegyo that gives you goosebumps or aegyo that makes you want to hit her over the head.

K-Pop Obsession: 4Minute's "Volume Up"

This week's obsession features a group I don't often listen to, it's 4Minute's newest single "Volume Up." They went for a vampire kinda theme, I mean it seemed more vampire in their teaser but it didn't really get transfered to the music video. SISTAR also just released "Alone" and that one is just as sexy as this one. I still preferred 4Minute because it has a very good dance beat. Honestly, I always get 4Minute and Sistar confused because I find them to be so similar. Hyunah toned it a bit down on the sexy vibe, I like her out of all the members but it's nice to see the rest of 4Minute as well.

I guess I would consider myself a netizen...though I only think a true netizen is someone who is on the borderline obsessive or stalker-ish. ^-^; I never heard this term before getting exposed to a lot of Korean stuff, so I believe it's mostly used in the Korean entertainment industry. Netizens have the power to support or ruin idols, create scandals and dig deeper and deeper into the private lives of idols.

K-Pop Obsession: SHINee's Sherlock

Babadabada da da da da, SHINee's back! SHINee's back! The boys are back and their new album, Sherlock, is the best so far! The only thing is the consistency of their comeback. Are they going for the old-timey Sherlock Homes sort of deal or is it the modern American Indian look? I'm not sure if the two blend too well.
